Welcome to your Oxygen Provider course, we begin with a short introduction and overview of the course and recap on First Aid procedures and the ABCDE approach to patient care.

In this section, you will learn how to provide Basic Life Support to adults, children, and infants, the use of barriers and gloves, and how to improve your compressions and breaths.

Oxygen is vital for life. In this section you will learn when it is used, the hazards involved when we use it, the effect of COPD on Oxygen Therapy, and the effect of too little (Hypoxia) or too much oxygen in the body (Hyperoxia).

This section looks in depth at pulse oximetry, you will learn what they are and how to use one.

In this section, we look at oxygen equipment, the correct storage, and transport, the different types of cylinders, regulators, BOC Oxygen Kits, and the use of portable suction units.

In this section, you will learn how to provide oxygen, the use of masks, and the different kinds and nasal cannula. There is also a section on the use of oxygen during an anaphylactic reaction.
